The Process
Please head on over to my contact page to check availability. When you contact me, please tell me your name, your partner’s name, where you’re getting married and your target wedding date (or a date range if you’re flexible). We will respond to you as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours. If we are available for booking, I will send you a brochure with my current pricing and package options. Please don’t put off booking your elopement early! 6 to 9 months in advance gives you a much better chance of landing a spot. My calendar for large weddings usually books up a year in advance, so reach out early if I’m your first choice for photography and elopement services.

If we seem like a good fit for your vision and budget, we schedule a phone call to review all of the details. We help you with everything from selecting a location, and estimated timeline, answering questions about day, vendor recommendations, etc… I help you fill in the blanks of how your day will unfold, and I’ll help you craft the perfect package for you both. I will then put all of that in writing for you and send you a proposal for services. I’m always here to answer your questions, and having been a part of over 600+ weddings, I’m well versed in all of the wedding day issues that can arise, and will help you every step of the way to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible.

If all looks good to you and you’re ready to book, I will send you a link to digitally sign the contract and secure your date with a retainer to book your wedding. A 50% non-refundable retainer is due to secure your date, 50% due 1 month before your Big island elopement. If you have questions about rescheduling or details, please visit the FAQ section. All of this will be outlined in the contract as well.

That’s it! Once you have secured your date with a retainer, you’re all set! Of course if you have any questions beforehand, I’m always happy to make recommendations regarding restaurants, clothing or shoe choices, beaches, vendors, etc… anything to make your stay more memorable! I also cover some of the common questions in my FAQ’s section.

I will touch base with you within the month of your wedding to review final timeline, make sure your marriage license process goes smoothly, answer any last questions, etc… Once we have everything set, I’ll make sure you have directions to your elopement location, and you’re all set! Just remember to savor the day. It goes by so fast! But don’t worry, I’ll be there to capture all of it so you can relive every moment, big and small.

Within a month you will receive your beautiful, huge elopement gallery! I have been averaging between 2-3 weeks to deliver, so as soon as I’m done perfecting your images, they will be on their way. I deliver them via Pixieset, a digital delivery service. You can share them with friends and family by forwarding the link with the PIN #, and they can download as well. You have a full print release, but I’m happy to help you with professional prints, creating an heirloom album, etc…

You have questions, I have answers!
YES! I am lucky to be married to the most fabulous officiant, and he will perform your wedding ceremony. He works with you to create a customized ceremony, perfect for you as a couple, and also allows personal vows and other changes. We will walk you through the process of obtaining your marriage license and will ensure all is done correctly so in the end you’re legally married!
Of course! We do have beach restrictions here in Hawaii for commercial activity, so we are limited to 30 total people on the beach at one time. That means me + officiant + you two + 26 total guests. If you are over this limit, we can always move the wedding to a private estate or another venue that will accommodate the larger numbers. It can also be JUST you two also, so once you have the final count, we can help you choose the perfect location or venue to suit your needs.
Of course! We work with the best of the best vendors, so if you want additional flowers, a musician, hair and makeup services, etc… we are here to bring your vision to life!
For two people only, we can fit you into our smallest package of 30 minutes. This is perfect for couple who mainly want to document the ceremony and a handful of couple’s photos after. Most couples choose the hour package. If you have less than 8 guests, this is usually a great fit, and allows for some family pics and a longer couple’s session (more variety and locations). For any groups over 8, I suggest the 1.5 hour package. This allows for more family photos, and ensures you won’t get “cheated” on the couple’s session end. We can also create a custom package for you, such as two locations, travel to a different part of the island, etc… The possibilities are endless!
Unfortunately Hawaii State Law does not allow chairs, arbors, or any other structures besides a small cake table and loose flowers on public beaches. We recommend choosing from one of our preferred private wedding venues for weddings with more guests and décor.
Of course! We welcome photo ideas so we can capture your wedding day as you envision it. Please feel free to share your Pinterest board or photo inspirations with us. Although our photographers have their own styles and a checklist of what the photograph at each wedding, they are always open to new ideas and suggestions
